Spoiler Alert...........well, only if you watch Better Homes & Gardens

Well just when I think nothing exciting happens in this quiet little community, I am proved wrong.

The weather was glorious today so I did nothing but bask in the sun all day long thought I'd check out the new community garden behind the village shops to get some inspiration for the vegie patch I'm planning for Tassie. And lo and behold, I see that the garden will be featuring on Better Homes and Gardens tomorrow night. We're going to be famous (she says with lots and lots of sarcasm!) I wonder if it's even possible to stretch such a segment to a whole 5 minutes....I can't wait to see what they have to say. Anyway, I thought I'd give you a sneak peak, visually speaking of course. I'll leave the informative stuff to the experts tomorrow night.

I do like the pretty picket fence and bench seats dotted around the place. The artwork is lovely and the lavender is a nice touch too.

There's everything from Passionfruit vines and herbs to Tuscan Kale and Rainbow Chard.

On a totally different note - I am perplexed as to why the local DVD store sells broken bits of tiling alongside the racks of DVD rentals. It is the weirdest thing ever and I fail to see the connection. Is it just me?

  1. LOL I just snorted a bit o my lemon honey drink (a bit of a cold coming on) because I found the incongruousness of the tiling and DVDs somehow very funny! It's bit really. I realise that now. But it still strikes me as funny and I have to giggle.

Hey your community garden is gorgeous! Love it!
