Join us for a cuppa...

It's a beautiful morning here today. Would you like to join me on the balcony for some morning tea? Wouldn't that be so nice? Well, I'm doing my very first Guest Post over at the lovely Greer's place today as part of her Very Bloggy Morning Tea so head on over there now and we can all join in together and you can read about my favourite morning tea ritual I used to share with my awesome Grandparents and my out-of-control Twins.

I'm an avid reader of Greer's lovely Blog and couldn't wait to meet her when I found out she was attending the blogging workshop last weekend in Sydney. We both turned up wearing hand-knitted ripple scarves and sat next to each other and got along like a house on fire. She is the loveliest, most down--to-earth person and is hosting morning tea for all of us every day this week. She is raising money for the Cancer Council, a cause that's especially dear to her, and every day she shares some absolutely delicious morning tea recipes and is also hosting a fabulous giveaway that you don't want to miss. So grab a chocolate TimTam from the table here and I'll see you over there!

  1. Oh wouldn't it be lovely to join you for a cuppa chat. . . and what a magic spot for it!

I know you've mentioned it before, but there is so much about the landscape where you live that reminds me of our little part of the world. How lucky we are!

For a moment there I thought I could get myself to Sydney for the Voices launch. But clearly in the end the timing was all wrong. Three days postpartum on Saturday, I was barely able to get out of bed, let alone on a plane!

Maybe some of the later events will be more feasible. It would be wonderful to meet some of the gorgeous girls I've made friends with through the blogging world. Looks like you had a blast!

  2. How wonderful it is to meet our fellow bloggers! I have met a few lately and it's wonderful the way online conversations can translate to real life with such ease. :)

  13. How wonderful to get to meet Greer in person and that as soon as you met you had so much in common without even having to chat both of your wearing beautiful hand knits. I would love to sit and have a cup of tea at your place Mel, having a lovely chat with you and looking out onto that glorious view. xxx
